Owl Pellets !

Teaching Tools from Nature

Picture
Owl pellets are regurgitated by owls after they've digested their meals. The pellets are compact and contain the undigestibles: the fur (or feathers) and bones of their last meal. They're fun and easy to dissect, you never know what will be inside - sometimes 2 or 3 different skeletons. Common finds include field mice, shrews, moles, rats, birds, frogs and more! A great way to learn about biology - try to reassemble the skeletons, or arrange them how you want.
Our owl pellets have been sterilized and come wrapped in foil. These are New England owl pellets collected naturally from Great Horned Owls and Barn Owls.
Most orders are shipped within 48 hours and shipping is via USPS First Class Mail. Larger orders may take longer to process! Please note we only ship within the United States but can consider special requests.
