Getting Ready for the Winter of 2011/2012!
The last of the leaves are falling, we've already had a taste of snow (Halloween Nor'Easter!), and laying down the seed for the birds who winter with us.

Participating in Keep America Beautiful's
Great American Cleanup Spring 2011!
We were glad to participate in GLAD's Bag Bank program to help clean up our local roadsides this Spring after the big thaw and reveal (lots of stuff hidden under the snowbanks after a brutal winter!).
Now all of the trash is gone, and replaced by beach roses and other flowers. We hope to be able to participate next year too!

There is no shortage of it! It's just a matter of remembering to take the camera along.
