Cemeteries in Down East Maine

Ours is a place of many ancient cemeteries, many still in use, but the majority are closed up, hidden in the forests, overgrown, filled with the ancestors of today's locals. I like visiting the older cemeteries especially, and documenting the early graves before they disappear to the elements. Here are a few highlights. Eventually this will turn into a large scale project!
